Our lifestyle shop represents the best of grown-up living, including stylish womenswear and accessories, exceptional beauty products, contemporary interior accessories and a range of quality British homeware. Our clothing edit takes in relaxed ranges from Seasalt and White Stuff alongside gorgeous texture and shapes from Charli, Noa Noa and Sandwich. We also have scarves, jewellery and footwear, including Aigle wellies.

Our beauty and skincare selection is unique in the area, chosen to complement our spa treatments and highlight the best in natural and high-performance products. Our brands include REN, This Works, Trilogy, L’Occitane, Dr Hauschka and Alpha H, with make up from Stila and Korres. We also stock handmade products from local companies Bath House and Sedbergh Soap.

Our interior and textile ranges are based on simple design, hand crafts and fun, tactile details, and we also have gifts made in Cumbria, alongside a variety of stationery, cards and wrap and colourful paper. Our latest collection of unique British homeware include skillfully crafted pieces by brands and designers using traditional methods in inspiring new ways. Find brands including Tweedmill, Twig, Weaver Green and Cream Cornwall amongst talented British designers such as Anna-Lisa Smith.

Oubas Knitwear

Wrap up warm this winter in Oubas Knitwear, founded by designer Kate Wilson in Cumbria. Oubas craft beautiful and timeless knitted pieces primarily using Merino Lambswool which is naturally renewable, biodegradable, breathable and non-allergenic. Based in their Cumbrian studio, Kate’s small team carefully knit and hand finish all their designs to the highest standard. They also work closely with carefully selected manufacturers in Scotland, to ensure the ranges can be produced with the best finish.

Nauseni was founded in response to Nepal Earthquake 2015 with the mission to empower women in Nepal by providing skill development and income generating opportunities for Nepalese women, particularly those affected by the Earthquake. We’re delighted to stock their beautiful range of wool felt slippers. Handcrafted from 100% wool in Nepal, the slippers guarantee ‘feel-like-home’ comfort and warmth wherever you are in the world.

Jacqui Sheard turned her soap making hobby into a business when she found a cosy little shop in the National Trust village of Lacock in Wiltshire. Everything made at Quintessentially English is made using the best natural ingredients and fair trade oils, so it’s always kind to your hair and skin. Organic handmade soap and luxurious toiletries are handmade using sustainable organic oils, beeswax, herbal infusions, 100% essential oils and natural vegetable extracts and clays.

Canova with The Westmorland Family

Our Buyer, Tracey, has worked with Canova to create a range of uniquely scented candles this winter. Based in the beautiful Herefordshire countryside, Canova individually hand pour each jar using 100% pure soy wax, natural oils and a 100% cotton wicks and include Lemon & Heather Honey Cordial, Nettle & Mallow Tea, Spiced Plum Preserve and Wild Foraged Berry. All the ingredients used in these candles are natural so you can reuse the jar to store jam, pickles or anything else that takes your fancy. Just give it a thorough wash first!

Melin Tregwynt

Deep in a remote wooded valley on the Pembrokeshire coast is a white washed wool mill named Melin Tregwynt, owned by the same family since 1912. A wool mill has been based on the site since the 17th century, spinning local wool into the finest yarn and the tradition continues today. Melin Tregwynt employ 30 people and combine authentic Welsh tradition with innovative and modern design to create vibrant homeware and accessories steeped in history.
