Gandys Flip Flops

As school children, Rob and Paul Forkan embarked on a trip with their parents that would forever change the course of their lives. Exploring and volunteering all over the world, the family were tragically caught up in the devastating Boxing Day tsunami in 2004 where the brother’s parents lost their lives.

Inspired by their parents’ sense of adventure, the pair founded clothing brand Gandys in order to fund their Orphans for Orphans initiative. In 2014 they achieved their initial target and opened their first children’s home in Sri Lanka to mark the 10 year anniversary of the tsunami. Their work is not done though! They are now planning to open children’s homes and support children in need all over the world. We’re delighted to be stocking their original product, their summery flip flops.
