Saturday Art Club at Rheged
Come and join us for our first Saturday Art Club inspired by Derek Eland’s fantastic Everest exhibition, “Being Human at Base Camp”. Over the course of three sessions, we will explore clay. We will add texture and colour to clay to create our own mountain hanging clay decorations then using our lovely letter stampers we will add words to describe what it might feel like to stand on top of the world’s tallest mountain! Your decorations will be glazed and fired for you to take home. We will also create our own mini 3D colourful mountain range using watercolour techniques.
Packed full of colourful, creative fun we can’t wait for the first of our Saturday Art clubs! Grownups are welcome to come and create with your children, or leave them with us to create while you enjoy a browse in the shops or some yummy cake in the café. The ticket will also give you one free outdoor play pass and 50p off the Saturday film club ticket.
Ticket include all 3 sessions.
