Mountain Arts Festival – Doug Scott in conversation with Catherine Destivelle
Rock Queen Catherine Destivelle in conversation with Doug Scott, CBE.
From 1985 to 1988 Catherine was considered the world’s best woman climber. In 1990 she made her mountaineering comeback with a series of incredible climbs, including solo winter ascents of the three most legendary Alpine walls – the Eiger, the Grandes Jorasses and the Matterhorn – making her the outstanding female climber of all time.
The Mountain Arts Festival 2016 brings together an exceptional group of artists, climbers, speakers and filmmakers for a celebration of the Arts in the context of mountainous landscape. Proceeds from the Mountain Arts Festival will support the Nepal Earthquake Appeal of Community Action Nepal. Find out more at www.themountainartsfestival.com
