Mines to Michelin Stars – a masterclass tableware demonstration’ with Miles-Moore Ceramics
This masterclass demonstration with Siobhan and Martin of Miles-Moore Ceramics, and The Forest Side owner Andrew Wildsmith, will provide a unique insight into how some of the best chefs in the country approach the design of their table ware.
As a nation we seem to get more interested in improving our lifestyles. Food, culture, artisan products, mindfulness, holidays, leisure time. Understanding and caring for ourselves and our landscape.
The Miles-Moore Ceramics Masterclass combines all this and more.
Three experts in their fields sharing their skills and knowledge. Over 2 interactive hours you will get an almost unique opportunity to hear from the creator of one of the most dynamic brands in hospitality about the importance of relevance in creating The Forest Side; hotel and Michelin Star Dining, and why ceramics play such an important role in that.
You will learn about the art and science of turning the waste products from mines, quarries and forestry into beautiful ceramics. You will see demonstrated the philosophy and skills that underpin revered ceremonial Teabowls and Michelin Star dining ware.
Some lucky audience members will be offered a short throwing experience, making a pot that MMC will finish and fire.
You will be able to watch and learn about the difference that careful plating up makes to a dessert from The Forest Side’s Luke Whittle and taste the results!
You must also have a show ticket for the day of your masterclass. Our experts are providing these classes at a special rate to support the show.
