Life of a Mountain: The End of an Era with Terry Abraham

Multi-award winning filmmaker and photographer, Terry Abraham, will be exclusively revealing clips from the finale to his ‘Life of a Mountain’ trilogy featuring the Lake District’s most popular fell, Helvellyn. The critically acclaimed ‘Life of a Mountain: Scafell Pike’ (2015) and ‘Life of a Mountain: Blencathra’ (2017) have been enjoyed by millions of viewers on the BBC and in 2020 Abraham is set to release the final chapter in his trilogy. Terry will share insights into how he goes about his work, tales of enduring the elements whilst camping out on the Lakeland fells and talk about the highs and lows of producing his highly anticipated swansong to Cumbria.

Biography
Self-taught broadcaster Terry Abraham, can often be found in a tent atop the fells capturing Lakeland at its best.

His love and passion for the fells is second to none and much like the late Alfred Wainwright, Terry has made a career for himself sharing the joys of the Lake District through visual media to widespread critical acclaim.

Whilst appearing numerous times on TV and radio including BBC’s Countryfile, Terry often shies away from the media preferring instead to spend countless hours and days on the fells and sharing the beauty of Cumbria with the wider world.
