The first ever Food & Drink Show at Rheged, celebrates the finest producers in Cumbria and the North – promoting local, sustainable, high quality, innovative and authentic food and drinks.

Visitors to the show will be able to taste and buy products, learn new skills with demos from reknowned chefs and experts, and take part in unique ticketed experiences.

Soulful Baker Julie Jones with a watch & learn masterclass on Pastry

If pastry is your nemesis or you simply want to improve your pastry, this class is for you. Full of tips and tricks on how to get pastry right, no fancy equipment just a rolling pin and some elbow grease. Julie will show you how to make pastry like a professional. Price includes entry into the Food & Drink show, tea or coffee on arrival and some taster treats provided by Julie Jones.

Wine Pairing Lunch Experience

Join professional head chef Scott Fairweather from the The Black Swan at Ravenstonedale and Richard Bracken, wine sommelier from Grapevine, previously from Askham Hall, for a Cumbrian 3 course meal matched with the perfect wines.
