The Cumbria Life Home & Garden Show has quickly established itself as the finest Northern Home and Garden Show of the year.

Cumbria is well known for its Arts and Crafts heritage, beautiful houses and gardens as well as garden designers with a national reputation. The show celebrates design, craftsmanship and innovation from across the north of England and Southern Scotland.

The weekend includes stands from over 75 suppliers, with talks and demonstrations from leading regional experts, included in your show ticket. See the timetable here.

MASTERCLASS – ‘Make a Drum Lampshade’ with Sonja Tilleard

In this popular class, Sonja will introduce the key principles of lamp shade making with practical demonstrations to help you master the skills and techniques involved. Participants will then make their own 30cm drum shade to display proudly in the home. Full kits and a choice of beautiful fabrics provided. Sonja’s ‘Shady Business’ offers bespoke services such as workshops, painted furniture and bespoke lampshades and is based at her interiors and gift shop, White & Green on Station Street, Cockermouth.
