We offer fun filled, exciting education programmes to schools and youth groups which support topics covered in our giant movies and exhibitions. Our programmes are updated every year and are closely linked to the National Curriculum, QCA schemes of work and vocational syllabuses. Education and Family Officer: Claire Porter
Claire joined Rheged in April 2005 as an experienced Education Officer having previously worked for both the National Trust and the Lake District National Park Authority. Claire leads our Education team including both Primary and Secondary school visits and manages the family attractions at Rheged.
Education Assistant: Laura Smith
Laura joined the Rheged team in November 2006 as a newly qualified teacher. Popular with visiting school children, Laura has quickly become an invaluable team member, and enjoys leading our Primary school visits.
