mountain life
Kate Tyler spends her leisure time climbing, fell walking, fell running and exploring disused Lake District mines. It makes her the ideal person to select the stock for our Mountain Life store.
Kate is an experienced outdoor enthusiast but she says it’s important to look at what different people are wearing when they’re out and about because Mountain Life serves a broad range of customers.
The shop caters for people who need a £70 Berghaus jacket to go dog walking through to serious mountaineers who want to spend £300 on a high-performing jacket by Haglöfs. Rheged’s ethos is reflected in the choice of clothing – for example Kate will only work with companies which use ethically sourced down.
