Mad Science, the world's leading fun science provider returns to Rheged with two spectacular science themed shows that will amaze and entertain you. Be mystified by molecules, witness a hot air balloon in action and zoom across the floor on a hovercraft!

1.30pm Spin, Pop & Boom:

Be spell bound with cool experiments from volcanic reactions to central frugal force demonstrations. Make foam shoot up in the air, watch as a hand appears to grow and see a swirl of steam dance like a genie out of a bottle.

3pm Fire & Ice Show:

Discover cool chemistry and learn the basics of air pressure.  Scissors will unexpectedly sizzle and carbon dioxide bubbles will pop as the chilling properties of dry ice are revealed. Be amazed when a ball is suspended over the audience and marvel at the strength of your own lungs with these radical air-pressure experiments.
