How to Find Us

Close to the geographical centre of the UK, Rheged is easy to get to.

By Road: Just 2 minutes for the M6 (J.40) at Penrith. Or from the Central Lakes take the A592 over the Kirkstone Pass. Our postcode covers a wide geographical area, so please don't rely on it for your Sat Nav!

By Rail: Just a 5 minute ride from Penrith Railway Station which is on the West Coast Main Line with regular trains to London and Glasgow. For National Rail Enquiries call 08457 484950.

By Bus: Catch the X4 or X5, a regular service running from Penrith to Keswick to Workington. The bus stops in Rheged's main car park.

By Air: Rheged is less than a 2 hour drive from Manchester Airport.

We are open every day from 10am - 5pm except Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years' Day. Entry to the building and parking for visitors is free. Rheged also has a 24hr Petrol Station and shop on site.
