New Exhibition Coming Soon!
With the National Mountaineering Exhibition staying open for longer than had originally been expected, plans for an exciting new exhibition designed to celebrate Cumbria, its culture and landscape had been put on hold. However, these plans are now very much in development, and it is hoped that this fantastic new exhibition will be up and running by Easter 2009.
This is a really exciting development for Rheged, and will incorporate our existing Tourist Information Centre and Discovering Cumbria Exhibition, making it the finest of it's kind in Cumbria, if not the North of England!
Rheged will continue to be a venue for outdoor adventure lectures and Festivals and will have appeal for the outdoor enthusiast through the daily showings of large format films such as Everest and Grand Canyon on the Big screen, specialist maps and guides in the Book shop and a wide choice of leading outdoor brands in Mountain Life.
