From a relaxed family lunch to a quick coffee and cake, Rheged's three cafes offer fresh food made by us, using the best local ingredients.

Rheged Cafe

Our popular table service cafe in Rheged's spectacular Mountain Hall serves fabulous fresh food, with all our beef and lamb dishes made with meat from our own farm at Orton.

The Rheged Cafe is an ideal place to relax, catch up with friends or enjoy an informal business lunch. We also do children's menus too!

Open for breakfast from 9am - 11am, and serving our lunch menu from 11.30am - 3pm.

Cafe Pod

Our mezzanine café provides a colourful and comfortable place for older people, young families and modern evenings.

It's signature foods are the hot meat sandwiches (sizzling honey roast hams, succulent joints of our own beef) with interesting breads and simple-by-design salads.  Delicious.  There are also homemade wobbly pies and our delicious sausage rolls.  

Best yet are the indulgent cakes, made for us by our in-house bakery, including a towering Coffee Cake and an unctuous Guinness Chocolate Cake; not to be missed by anyone with a sweet tooth.   Click here to see more delights from Cafe Pod!
