Cumbria's long history as a place of contemplation, beauty and inspiration for artists through the ages is unlocked here with information about Cumbria's leading galleries both large and small, profiles on the county's best makers and details of plays, peformances, music and comedy events taking place throughout the area.
Using our interactive video touchscreen, visitors can browse key local websites and find out about creative courses, new exhibitions and cultural activities going on in the region during their stay. Our staff also produce monthly recommended activities, features Cumbria artists and makers, festivals and live events. They are also on hand to make personal recommendations and to help you plan your day travelling from studio to gallery to sculpture park!
